Before start talking about Arts, I think that is prudent to say what I understand about what exactly arts is. To me, art is everything made by the human provided it expresses something. It can be the most insignificant thing or the most unintelligible piece of art, but if those things have a meaning, and the author put his blood, sweat and tears on it, it is a magnificent piece of art.
Having said that, in my opinion, the best expression of art are the renaissance paintings and architecture. Those magnificent paintings are the top of the human expression in
the white. I'm not only talking about the
magnifique technique with the pencil, also about the meaning of a lot of the wonderful paintings distributed along Renaissance Europe.

Talking about architecture, the European landscape is full of it, and, in my opinion, without those buildings Europe would lose a lot of its charm. The German castles, the French huts, the Spanish churches, England markets, and the Dutch windmills. It's hard to imagine current European countries without its renaissance legacy.

If you ask me, What is the most important art that exist?, I'll answer without hesitation; The Writing.
Human history starts with the writing, and in my opinion, it will end with it. Writing led humans to tell histories and transcend beyond the eras. Currently, the immortality is only achievable through writing, being known to next generations and being someone who marked their existence.
Writing let the human think, imagine and transcend...

ReplyDeleteI think that here in Chile we used to have a lot of beautiful artworks, the ones that our ancestors made such as Diagüita and Selknam cultures were AWESOME!I really wish could change the past and be able to conserve all of their work.
